Croxton Village Shop
Photos of Croxton Village Shop
Open from 8am to 7pm, the shop caters for those who work 9-5pm and can't get to a shop.
The building belongs to the Belvoir Castle estate but the current tenants have improved it considerably. The shop are itself has been restored from a run down area to a vibrant light and clean setting which not only provides excellent product but acts as a village noticeboard too.
Local tell me that there has been an uptick in people wanting to live in Croxton Kerrial because of the success of the shop, and its position on the main road (A607) between Melton Mowbray and Grantham means that many people stop by when they are passing through,
What does Croxton Village Shop sell?
Produce is sourced from local farms and producers where possible, and includes coffee from Cherizena Coffee, responsibly farmed meats from March House Farm near Melton Mowbray and breads and baked goods from the Hambleton Bakery in Stretton.
Hot food is available from a cabinet daily and includes cornish pasties, slices, sausage rolls etc.
The shop has a proper coffee machine too.
When I last dropped by I got a latte and a cheese and onion slice which was £6 in total.
The Croxton Kerrial village shop also has a licence to sells beers, wines and spirits, something which has proved very popular.

A fabulous boost to the area
The shop has a great range of produce from the local area, as well as coffee, alcohol and day to day products. Love a hot sausage roll and coffe on my way through the village.
