Melton and the Vale are happy to organise religious funerals of any faith or denomination, as well as non-religious funerals. They have the widest range of coffins, caskets, and urns to choose from and are not restricted to just one corporate manufacturer.

You can also choose from a wide range of transport, from traditional hearses and limousines, to a horse-drawn carriage, motorcycle hearses, a double decker bus, lorries both old and new, large and small and even a VW camper or a gun carriage.

Melton and the Vale’s skilled memorial masons are available to create personalised, lasting tributes for your loved one and can also supply floral tributes all year round.

The funeral home on Mill Street in Melton Mowbray is the only funeral home in Melton that offers the facility to hold a service. It also has two peaceful chapels of rest where you can spend time with your loved one and a private meeting room where you can discuss funeral arrangements in peace.

Melton and the Vale Independent Funeral Directors is open from 9.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday with 24/7 phone support. Home visits are also available by appointment.
