The Tap & Run, a village pub in the centre of Upper Broughton, may have celebrity owners but deserves its high profile regardless. Staff are super efficient, polite and happy and the food is excellent.

The Tap & Run is, even according to its own advertising, in its second innings. A fire gutted the building in mid-2022, but the reincarnation is, if anything, better than the original, with a modern feel in a traditional setting.
