Situated next to the Grantham Canal, The Duck at Woolsthorpe has a nice indoor restaurant and bar area. It also has an extended outdoor seating area, and an outdoor bar, perfect for those summer evenings.

The Duck is very dog friendly and suitable for all ages.

They do not accept cash.

The Duck is a relaxing retreat, quenching the thirst of the Vale of Belvoir and beyond.

Booking is essential inside, and they are operating on a first come first served basis in the Beer Garden.

Archives of the Pub have been found as far back as 1910 called The Rutland Arms.

Located on Duck Lane in Woolsthorpe in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. (Sat Navs may take you the “scenic route” or not at all.)

The large Beer Garden looks onto the charming canal with a patio area designed for total relaxation outdoors.

Mingle in the fresh country air with the gazebo and a few corner sofas outside.

The children’s play area has tables nearby where parents can sit and have a drink or have lunch and keep an eye on their children while they enjoy playing in the surrounding area.

We are dog friendly and politely request you keep them on a lead whilst your four legged friends refresh after a long walk.

Monday to Friday 10am - 11pm.
Saturday 9.30am - 11pm.

Duck Hall, Woolsthorpe

The Duck Hall is a beautiful venue adjacent to The Duck in Woolsthorpe with a maximum capacity of 65-70 seated and 100 standing.

The building is a converted stables, with exposed beams. Decorated simply with a rustic feel allowing you to add your own personal charm to your event.

Duck Hall is suitable for a variety of occasions.

Bookings are recommended also for hosting large groups in a relaxing atmosphere.

The price for venue hire is very competitive.

If you are looking for an intimate gathering, look no further.

Management work with a selection of photographers and entertainment suppliers should you need assistance to bring your event to life.

I came with my friend and my partner in the early evening and had a lovely meal we had three mains and two puddings and a couple of drinks each which came to about £35 per head.
